Today drama club had it's second run of mock 'auditions' for those who plan to do cattle call statewide auditions at the end of the month at a confrence called GTC (Georgia Theatre Conference). These people have been preparing 90 seconds worth of material, monologue and song, to present at this event. GTC is like a test to see if you can pass through to SETC (Southeastern Theatre Conference). Through SETC you can find job opportunities and internships as an actor/actress or technician.
So like I was saying.
Drama club had their mock audtions. There were only four auditionees. And from their performances I have created the list of
TEN THINGS YOU NEVER DO IN AN AUDITION:
- Be late.
- Dress like a slob.
- Not prepare you music.
- Sing off pitch.
- Forget the words to your song [or not know them to begin with].
- Forget your monologue [see rule 5].
- Wear too high heels... and then dance.
- Wear skirts higher than your knees [a personal request from the judges].
- Be shy.
- [NEVER] make excuses. Just say thank you.
Yeah, so you can imagine the scenarios from which these rules sprung. Yup, let that thought process just ruminate. ;)

I was inspired by my new group of friends @ school. Ivy, Kahlia, Tatiana. You guys rock. We are the four Papayas!!! I'm a nerd. :D
Closing/Future
In closing, I am going to stop the post now (Kahlia) lol. And in the future I will not be eating any more chocolate thanks to Ivy!!!
